My mission with Championship Chronicles is to educate, encourage, motivate, inspire, and empower young readers.
I also want to encourage others to write historical children's books. Teachers can also use our books in preschool classes and above.
There’s a Champion in Every Child
I have read to hundreds of preschool children through Head Start programs and childcare centers. Through this, I have gained an appreciation for the types of materials many young students need to read to increase their self-esteem, their drive to succeed, and their passion for reading. This, combined with my love of history, inspired me to write the series and to continue writing Championship Chronicles Part II.
I created the children's book series Championship Chronicles after learning of an African-American automobile manufacturer.
Stories about people overcoming have always resonated with me. I overcame a lack of educational resources to graduate from Yale and from the University of Miami. After law school, God blessed me with a long, successful legal career.
Having a love for Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible has inspired me to write stories that empower young people to become the champions that God has called them to be!
